Hours after two individuals were arrested for participating in anti-India activities in Patna, Bihar Police revealed that one more person had been arrested and all the accused had planned to attack the event in which they were present. PM Modi’s presence on July 12. The duo identified as Md Jalaluddin and Athar Parvez trained around 26 people to create violence at Prime Minister Modi’s event in Patna on Tuesday.

According to reports, Bihar Police broke down the terror module on the evening of July 11 and arrested two suspects, one of whom is a former police officer of Jharkhand. Meanwhile, the other, named Athar Parvez, is a former SIMI member and now a member of the PFI and its political branch SDPI. ASP Manish Kumar announced in a press conference on July 14 that Parvez’s younger brother was also a convicted terrorist who was jailed in 2001-02 for his involvement in a bomb blast.

The reports mentioned that the two defendants Md Jalaluddin and Athar Parvez trained about 26 people for terrorist missions and taught them to use guns, swords and knives. Police also recovered related documents from the accused to discover that the PFI was traumatized by the alleged ‘blasphemous’ statements by former BJP spokesman Nupur Sharma and that they planned terrorism in retaliation for alleged remarks.

The FIR registered in this matter also mentioned that the accused belonging to the terrorist organization planned to tamper with the event that Prime Minister Modi attended on July 12th. Prime Minister Modi visited Bihar to attend. an event held on the occasion of the Bihar Conference’s Centennial Anniversary as part of which he inaugurated a commemorative pillar, planted a sapling of the ‘Kalpataru’ tree, and laid the foundation stone of a house guests and a library.

Assistant Superintendent of Police Manish Kumar said that the Police were constantly monitoring terrorist organizations and their activities prior to Prime Minister Modi’s visit as a routine business. “Because the Prime Minister was coming, we were on alert, in the meantime we learned of these people’s offices and we started a close investigation. FIR was against a total of 26 people, of which 3 were arrested,” he was quoted as saying.

During the investigation, Bihar Police discovered that Parvez was in regular contact with members of various organizations abroad and was looking for foreign funding to carry out anti-India activities. Suspected terrorist training also started in Phulwari Sharif 15 days before Prime Minister Modi’s visit. The police raided and arrested the two men as soon as they received the information. An FIR was filed against 26 individuals.

It should be noted, one of the documents called ‘Vision of India 2047’ which was recovered by Bihar Police talks about ‘subduing the cowardly majority community and bringing glory. According to the Police, the document is very offensive and talks about ‘Muslim rule in India’. “The PFI is sure that even if 10% of the entire Muslim population gathers behind it, the PFI will conquer the feared majority and restore glory,” continued Kumar, quoting an excerpt from an 8 page paper titled ‘Indian Vision 2047’.

According to the Police, the document adds that in the event of an official conflict with the state, in addition to relying on cadres, they will need help from their Muslim-friendly countries. “In recent years, the PFI has built a cordial relationship with Turkey, a country headed by Islam,” the police official quoted from the document.

It is worth noting here that the Islamic organization PFI was found to be involved in a number of anti-India activities that often manifest as violence and hostility towards Hindu communities and the government. From anti-India protests in Shaheen Bagh, anti-CAA riots, and Bengaluru riots in 2020 to recent riots in several Indian cities, PFI’s footprints are everywhere. . Several reports have emerged showing that after the radical Islamic organization SIMI was banned, most of its members integrated into the PFI.
