YouTube users ExxotikGaming and Lazy Assassin recently shared a video highlighting Indus. Some viewers claim that the game looks quite similar to popular shooters like Apex Legends and Valorant. It should be noted that the game is in the early stages of development right now, with trailers and gameplay scenes mostly being part of the pre-alpha builds. This suggests that a lot of the elements you are seeing right now may not be final yet.

In response to the comparisons, Indus game director Jwalant Gangwar said: “We are extremely excited when our game is compared to Apex Legends. Respawn Entertainment is a great source of inspiration for all of us on the team. That being said, this is not the purpose. As the game is in deep development, we are still going through many iterations and several art styles to see what is the right skin to deliver the best version of Indo-Futurism possible. The final product will look different and have many other changes under the hood as we hope to be India’s best battle royale game. “

Gangwar added, “It should also be remembered that this is nothing new. Our previous games Silly Royale and MaskGun had similar look and feel to other popular games like Among Us and Counter-Strike before finally launching with their distinct identities and gameplay. We plan to do the same with Indus.”

Indus is coming soon for PC, consoles and mobile devices. The developer SuperGaming will share more details about Indus’ gameplay, lore, and release date in the coming months.
