Xiaomi 13 series to debut along side MIUI 14, Xiaomi Buds 4 on December 1

Xiaomi has finally confirmed the launch date of the Xiaomi 13 series. The company has announced that the Xiaomi 13 series will launch in China on December 1, 2022 at 7pm China time (4:30pm IST). ). The Xiaomi 13 lineup will include the standard Xiaomi 13 and the Xiaomi 13 Pro. The lineup is also expected to feature a Xiaomi 13S Ultra model that could launch sometime next year. MIUI 14 and Xiaomi Buds 4 will also debut during this launch event.

Xiaomi 13 series release date

The Xiaomi 13 series will have two devices named Xiaomi 13 model and Xiaomi 13 Pro. The base Xiaomi 13 will have a flat screen and the Xiaomi 13 Pro will have a curved screen. The company has also revealed that the vanilla Xiaomi 13 will come with a flat OLED panel and narrow bezels 1.61mm thick.

Xiaomi will likely provide both upcoming devices with metal frames.

The company also plans to introduce the latest Android 13-based MIUI 14 skin and Xiaomi Buds 4 alongside the Xiaomi 13 series on December 1. The design of the Xiaomi Buds 4 has also been teased today.

According to rumors, the Xiaomi 13 is expected to feature a 6.2-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will likely carry the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. It can be paired with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB internal storage. Reports have suggested that they may also have more memory configurations.

Xiaomi may offer a 50MP Sony IMX8 series rear camera sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support and a 32MP selfie camera in the Xiaomi 13. Regarding the battery of the device, the Xiaomi 13 is said to have a 4,700mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The device will have a USB Type-C charging port.
