Redmi Note 12 expected to launch this month, might offer 210W fast charging

Smartphone maker Xiaomi is expected to launch the Redmi Note 12 this month (October 2022). The company teased it through Weibo and the same poster was spotted by tipper Mukul Sharma. The poster shared by Xiaomi also says that the Note 12 series will bring two new technologies. However, the company has specified it yet.

The Redmi Note 12 series is the successor of the Note 11 series and is expected to offer three models. The three models are Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro plus. However, many reports have also mentioned the Redmi Note 12 Extreme Edition.

The Redmi Note 12 series is expected to be powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity chipset. The processor is expected to be a Dimensity 1300 or a 6nm processor. When it comes to cameras, the devices are expected to offer triple-camera setups. The main camera is expected to be a 50MP sensor while the others are expected to be an ultra-wide camera and a macro camera.

The most interesting element about the upcoming series is the presence of 210W fast charging. Redmi Note 12 Pro plus can be charged 210W fast. On the other hand, Redmi Note 12 or Note 12 Pro can be charged 120W fast. In terms of battery capacity, we expect that the smartphone is equipped with a 5000mAh battery. We expect the smartphone to get Android 12 out of the box.
