San Francisco: Instagram has announced that an outage that told users their accounts was suspended has now been fixed by the company.
Thousands of Instagram users from around the world reported the outage, which resulted in them being locked out and notifying many that “we have suspended your account”.
In an apology on Twitter, Instagram said: “We’ve resolved this bug now – it was causing people in different parts of the world to have problems accessing their accounts and causing problems. temporary change for some followers. Sorry.”
Instagram’s policy states that they may disable some accounts that violate community guidelines, such as illegality, bullying, hate speech, spam, or other intellectual property violations. , according to the report.
Twitter also trended with the hashtag #InstagramDown, as hundreds of users had similar problems logging into their accounts.
Some users reported being unable to appeal Instagram’s decision, resulting in their account being logged out and their email and password not being found.
Meanwhile, users in India and some parts of the world also reported problems with Instagram last week.
