San Francisco: Google has rolled out a new transitional Material You design for Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
It’s designed like a pill, so the Material 3 (M3) switch is larger than the previous one, 9To5Google reports.
New color mapping, higher and wider tracks, and the ability to keep the icon in the switch’s thumb are all features of the M3 switch.
In Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, users can use direct conversions in the editor’s add-ons menu for Print Layout, Suggested Changes, Available Offline, and Stars, the report said. .
Meanwhile, earlier this week, the company rolled out Material You-style color-based themes for Chrome Canary, an experimental version of the tech giant’s browser.
The ‘Custom Chrome Color Extraction’ feature automatically selects a color scheme for the browser, based on the background image displayed when the user opens a new tab.
According to Google’s software, the new feature “allows to set the theme color based on the background color of the background image when the background image is changed in the New Tab Page”.
