Apple iPhone 15 Pro models may come with as much RAM as Galaxy S23
Apple’s upcoming iPhone is said to offer as much RAM as the Samsung Galaxy S23 series phones. According to a new report from Taiwanese research firm TrendForce, the Cupertino-based tech giant will likely include 8GB of RAM in the latest iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models.
That means the Apple iPhone 15 Pro models will have 2GB more than current-generation iPhones and as much RAM as the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S23+. If that’s true, this will be the first time an iPhone model has the same RAM as a Samsung phone.
In addition, there are many other features of the iPhone 15 series that will also be the same as the Samsung Galaxy S23, the report reveals. The iPhone 15 Pro Max is said to have a 10x optical zoom camera with a periscope lens, similar to that of the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Apple will also provide USB Type-C ports for its next-generation iPhones under new EU regulations.
For the most part, Apple iPhones take better video than Galaxy phones. In particular, in low light, the iPhone takes clearer photos than the Galaxy phones. However, the Galaxy S23 Ultra has brought major improvements in this section.
If the iPhone 15 Pro models come with the same RAM, storage, camera zoom and video recording capabilities as the Galaxy S23 series. At that time, the competition between Galaxy S23 and iPhone 15 will be more fierce.
