YouTube Star Dream Debuts His Face For The 1st Time: Watch

Dream, the popular Minecraft YouTuber with over 30 million subscribers, decided to show his real face to the world on October 2nd. Dream previously used a white smiley to cover his face, until his big reveal in the video garnered over 19 million views. Dream sat back in his chair and covered his face with a blanket before showing the world his identity. “Hi. Feeling very awkward. My name is Clay. Also known as Dream Online,” the 23-year-old brunette said in front of the camera.

Dream explains why he finally decided to stop hiding his identity from fans after so many years. “Many of you are probably wondering why now? Why did you reveal your face in the end? You haven’t shown your face the whole time,” he said, before revealing that his best friend George from the UK is moving in with Dream, and so Dream will meet him for the first time at the airport.

“My goal was to just start doing things, go out, meet creative people, finally say hi to my friends,” explains Dream. “Just go out into the world, be a real creator, be a human. I was stuck. You don’t know the people trying to leak my face, trying to figure out what I look like. There is too much. It’s just a little too much. “

Dream said he started “revealing his face” on FaceTime to friends and other YouTube creators “just to get a little more hyped”. He made it clear that there was “no script” in his big reveal to YouTube subscribers and that he would continue to make his videos but without the face camera. “But yes, now you have seen my face. The question is over,” Dream said. “This is me.”

Dream exploded onto YouTube in 2019 and 2020 thanks to his interactive Minecraft videos. He also has a large presence on Instagram with over 3 million followers and on Twitter with over 5 million followers. Dream has such a huge fanbase that they must be thrilled because they can finally make their name on this list!
