‘Yellowstone’ Season 5 Trailer: John Takes Over As Governor & The Duttons Are Threatened

John Dutton sworn in as governor of Montana in opening moment Yellowstone season 5 trailer. Beth and Jamie are by his side. John quickly fired his entire team and made Beth his new director.

“I love Montana, but I’m doing this for our family,” admits John. This new position will put John in the face of powerful new enemies.

“They will fight you. They’ll be up against you dirty,” Jamie told Beth. She replied in the most Beth Dutton way, “Is there any other way?”

One person willing to fight Dutton is Caroline Warner. “Destroy them, starting with her,” Caroline said of Beth. At one point, Caroline shouted in frustration, “This f**king family!”

Kayce also makes a surprising revelation, hinting at a possible life change for the youngest Dutton. “I do this for my father. I don’t do this for me,” Kayce said. Monica, who is expecting a child, notes, “When I say we give everything to this land, I mean everything.”

Meanwhile, Beth and Rip are living a happy married life. However, that doesn’t mean they won’t have problems in season 5. There will be fights, backstabbing and betrayals in the latest installment of the hit series. Just another day for the Duttons.
