“I have some bad news, unfortunately I have tested positive for COVID and won’t be able to do it this Monday,” Val said. “It sucks—for lack of a better, deeper word. But the good thing is that Gabby tested negative so we’re still in it.”

Val revealed that Alan Berstenwho was recently eliminated with Jessie James Decker, will support him on Halloween Night. Val noted that he will “be back next week” if he and Gabby are not eliminated.

Val isn’t the first DWTS pro to test positive for COVID-19 this season. Daniella Karagach had to miss two weeks of the competition after testing positive. Thankfully, her partner Joseph Brothers and husband Pasha Pashkov there were no positive results at any point.
