Wendy Williams Leaves Rehab After 2 Months Of Treatment: She’s ‘Home & Healing’

Wendy Williams, 58 years old, is “recovering” after two months in rehab. Follow Page six. “We are pleased to announce that Wendy Williams has returned home and recovered after being treated in a healthcare facility since August,” said a Wendy’s representative, Shawn Zanottisaid in a statement given to the store.

“Wendy is excited about the road ahead and looks forward to releasing more of her projects,” he added before sending a message from Wendy to her fans. “Thanks to my fans for the love, support and many prayers, I’m back and better than ever,” the statement read.

Wendy’s report was released from rehab a month after Shawn told HollywoodLife that she was in the facility for the “overall health issues” she was trying to manage. “Wendy entered a healthcare facility seeking help to manage her overall health problems.” Shawn said in a press release in September. “She is taking a moment to focus on her health and wellness as she prepares for an important return to the next level in her career with ‘The Wendy Experience Podcast.’

“Multiple Sclerosis. Williams is being treated by a team of some of the best doctors in the world,” he added. “We ask for your prayers and best wishes during this time. “

Wendy’s health problems over the past few years have led her to leave her popular talk show, The Wendy Williams Show, in 2021. She previously confirmed that some of the problems include Graves’ disease and lymphedema. She fainted on her show in 2017 and seems to have struggled with more health issues since, but has been open about certain issues over the years.

One of the struggles Wendy has opened up about in the past is her struggle with substance abuse. She has examined sobriety facilities before and talks about it in her program. She also talked about the painful divorce she went through with her ex-husband, Kevin Hunterin 2020. She accused him of cheating on her and having a baby with another woman in 2019.
