Ski it is not so! Scott Calvin, aka Santa Claus, reveals he’s decided to retire in the first trailer for Santa Clausdebuted at Expo D23 on September 10. He began interviewing his replacement candidates, including Peyton Manning. The series will premiere on November 16.

Santa Clause became an instant holiday classic when it hit theaters in 1994. For nearly 30 years, Santa Clause spawned two sequels and will soon be a TV series. Tim Allen is reprising his iconic role in the Disney+ Original series alongside other familiar faces from the original trilogy.

Tim Allen will return as Scott Calvin for Santa Clause series. The actor first played the character who became Santa Claus in the original 1994 film. He returned for the sequel. Clause 2 about Santa Claus and Santa Clause 3: Escape clause. All three films grossed over $100 million at the box office, with the first film grossing $189.8 million. Tim will also serve as the series’ executive producer.

As of now, only two characters from the previous films have been confirmed to return. One is Elizabeth Mitchell, who plays Santa’s wife, Carol, who becomes Mrs. Claus. At the end of the third film, Carol gives birth to a son named Buddy.

On July 27, Limit line report that David Krumholtzwho played Head Elf Bernard in the first two seasons Santa Claus movie, will come back for Santa Clause series. David retweeted the news on his Instagram page and wrote, “YOU, 100% DELICIOUS HAVE MADE THIS HAPPENED! THANK!! Wonderful! He also shared a behind-the-scenes video of the character Bernard.

Adjust!” he wrote.In his comment, David mentions that the series is titled Santa Clausbut Disney has yet to confirm the title.

Kal Penn joined the cast of Santa Clause series, follow Limit line. He will play Simon Choksi, an “ambitious game inventor and product developer and devoted single father. Simon could talk tech mogul but couldn’t walk, and his dreams of becoming the next Bezos were short-lived. But all that changed after the visit to the North Pole.”

There are a number of fan-favorite actors who have acted in previous films that have yet to be announced back. These actors include Eric Lloydwho played Scott’s eldest son, Charlie Calvin, and Spencer Breslinwho played Curtis the Elf in Clause 3 about Santa Claus.
