‘Teen Mom: The Next Chapter’: Catelynn Lowell Hospitalized After Cyst Surgery Goes Wrong

Sorry! Catelynn Lowell went through a lot of challenges on the September 20 episode of Teen Mom: Next Chapter. After finding out she needed surgery to remove a vaginal cyst and staying in bed for a few days (with a urinary catheter!), she worried she would be a burden to her husband. Tyler Baltierra. Obviously he would have to take care of their three children alone, but he said he had done it many times before and he would be fine if he did it again. So she went ahead with the surgery, but after returning home, her catheter failed, so she had to rush back to the hospital. But then her second catheter also malfunctioned, so she had to urinate in her pants and in bed for almost seven days. Luckily, Tyler took care of her and the kids and everything was fine.

After, Briana De Jesus had planned a trip to meet her estranged father, but she was disappointed when her mother went behind her and reached out to him. Roxanne asked him to apologize to Briana and her sister, Brittany, for ditching them years ago, but she waited 3-4 weeks before telling them she tried contacting him. She only told them when she heard that Briana wanted to find him. They accused her of “lying” them by keeping that information private from them, but Roxanne said she was just trying to protect them. Then, days later, when Briana revealed that she had changed her mind and didn’t want to see her father, Roxanne told the girls that she had also tried to call him, but he was immediately stamping machine. So again, she was caught “lying” to her daughters. Briana and Brittany can’t understand why Roxanne didn’t release information about the phone call when she told them about the letter – especially after finding them upset that she withheld the original information.

Meanwhile, Cheyenne Floyd grappling with the aftermath of the shooting and worrying that Ryder too, so after going into an angry room to break furniture, she called Maci Reserve to get some advice from her as she went through a similar case. And speaking of that experience, Maci was busy celebrating By Bentley However, with her thirteenth birthday this week, she fears the bowling alley will trigger her PTSD. Since she still couldn’t be around loud noises, she asked Bentley to remove any balloons from the building, as a popping noise could freak her out. But at the end of the episode, she sat down with her children and they released some balloons to help her overcome her fear.

Final, Amber Portwood ask your ex Gary Shirley to testify in her detention case for James. He happily accepts, although he has warned her that he may have to talk about their troubled past, and all hope for the best. Obviously, everyone wants Amber’s son James around, so they can continue to develop a good relationship with him, but Amber’s ex, Andrew Glennon, is fighting for full custody of their children and wants to move to California with James. (Sadly, we know Andrew is finally winning real-time custody, but we haven’t gotten there on the show yet.)
