Christine Brown’s Move to Utah is about to air on October 30 of Where are youand Meri Brown and Robyn Brown admittedly still shaken by her decision. “I was really disappointed,” Meri admitted to Robyn, when the two women met to discuss their family situation (this episode was filmed over a year ago, late summer 2021). Christine just informed her sister-in-law about the divorce decision Kody Brown and away from his family, but the news has yet to sink in.
“Supposedly it doesn’t affect us because we’re not part of their relationship, but that’s bullshit,” insisted Robyn. “It’s crazy to sit there and watch this big bomb about to go off in my family.” Robyn and Meri are saddened that Kody didn’t fight harder to save her marriage to Christine. However, they were also very angry when Christine left surname, as well as Kody. “I am feeling betrayed,” Meri explained. “It just makes me think it’s all been a lie all these years. She always said how much she wanted Sister-in-laws.”

During the confessional, Meri got emotional as she discussed Christine’s decision. “I feel like Christine is more than a sisterly wife,” she admits. “I felt her as a friend for many years. We believe this is the family structure for us and now all of a sudden people change their mind because it’s difficult? She told Robyn that she was working on Christine’s decision “in a personal way,” but that she wasn’t even ready to cry about it because she was still “so upset.”
Meri and Kody had a hard time in of them relationship for many years, but Meri never considered leaving the family. However, Christine doing so makes Robyn worry that Meri might be next. “Stay here with me,” she begged. “We have to rebuild. What I like about what you’re doing is that you’re not just talking about you and him – you’re talking about other people too. Not only Kody but [Christine] is leaving.”

Meanwhile, Christine conceals another layer of her relationship with Kody by selling bedroom sets from the house they share in Arizona. “I don’t want to bring anything that might bring back painful memories with Kody in my next home,” she explains. “He being in my space when we live in the bedroom together is toxic. I don’t carry that toxic thing with me. On her future love life, Christine added, “Starting a new relationship at 49? I hope. I hope I can find love again and be in a relationship with someone who loves me and wants to marry me and is attracted to me. I don’t know. But what I do know is that I’d rather be alone and love myself than be with someone who doesn’t love me.”
