Robyn Brown, Meri Brown and Janelle Brown has been filled in Christine Brown’s decided to leave Kody Brown and moved to Utah on the October 2 episode of Where are you. Christine made the decision a few weeks ago, but finally sat down with other wives to share her position. All five adults returned to the tense conversation together.
Meri and Robyn were extremely caught off guard by Christine’s decision. Meanwhile, Janelle is adamant that Christine might be gone, but she still voiced her fear about what will happen to their children’s relationship. Christine planned to take her and Kody’s youngest daughter, Reallyaccompanied her to Utah, which sparked a major argument among the group.

“She’ll be fine,” Christine reassured everyone. “It will be difficult and she will miss everyone and I will take her from Kody… it is difficult, don’t get me wrong.” Kody, who had been mostly silent up until that point, jumped into the conversation when it came to her daughter. “You won’t take her away from me,” he insisted. “We will have to get joint custody. It would have to be 50/50. “
During a confessional, he added, “I’m not going to sit here and let her do this without protesting it and saying we have to do something about custody. I don’t know what it looks like. This discussion did not happen. Christine was surprised by Kody’s reaction, and told him that she thought they had discussed the matter privately. “I never said it was okay to be moving,” he retorted. “We only talked about moving. “

Christine remembers things differently, but Kody still stands her ground. “I never said it was fine,” he said. “I never made a big deal out of it, but I never answered that. You never asked if you could move. You say you are moving. Okay, you let me go, that’s what I said, I agree. But you never told me the first time you talked about this that you were moving. You just say, ‘Let me go.’ That doesn’t mean you just run Truely and Truely out of my life.”
Kody is adamant that he needs to be the key figure in his daughter’s life. That frustrated Christine, as she didn’t feel he was spending enough time with any of their children, even if she lived nearby. “I find it ironic that now he wants to be involved in my children’s lives and I’m gone,” she admitted. “Now he wants 50/50 time with us. The whole time we live here, if he wants 50/50 of the time, he should be around more. He didn’t hit 50/50. He wasn’t around enough for that. “
The conversation continued in circles before Christine moved on and assured the other wives that they would figure out the future of holidays and birthdays as a family. “My departure will not change the relationship my children have with you,” she insisted.
However, Robyn and Meri were still shaken. “I’m still a bit shocked,” Robyn admitted. “I am still trying to figure out what this means for the family. I think that Christine will not be my wife’s sister feel wrong. I haven’t seen many positive examples of the consequences when a wife leaves a large family and it’s scary for me.” Meri added, “I don’t know how long this has been going on, but it’s been really frustrating for me.”
The lengthy conversation ends with the episode, and it’s clear that there are still some hurt feelings and confusion left. Where are you airs Sundays at 10:00 p.m. on TLC.
