Rachel Recchia received the marriage proposal she was expecting in the season 19 finale of Bachelorettewas filmed in May and aired on September 20. Tino Franco knelt during the final rose ceremony and posed the question to Rachel with a beautiful ring. Neil Lane’s engagement ring is a giant emerald cut diamond in a gold band. Rachel beamed as she received the ring from Tino.

Rachel told Tino at the final rose ceremony. “I really feel like it’s unreal right now, but thinking about that first night and your charm and your humor and everything about you is undeniable. I need you to know that I have truly never met anyone in my life like you – someone who is incredibly selfless, gentle and supportive and makes me want to be a better person every day. This journey has been very difficult for me. There was a time when I didn’t think anyone was here for me and I felt unworthy of the role I was given, but I would do it all a million times to have you in front of me right now. I don’t feel like I could be any happier now because I love you so much and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you. “

He responded with a romantic proposal. “This will never go away. The first night I was more nervous than I’ve ever had in my life and the second night I took your hand to lead you up the stairs, miraculously you made me feel calm and confident. Now I’m standing here on the biggest day of my life and, once again, you make me feel so confident. Entering the final rose ceremony, Tino was the only man left with Rachel after she was eliminated Aven Jones and Zach Shallcross decided to leave the show during season one of the finale on September 13. Rachel made it clear that she wanted to get engaged at the end of her journey. She tells Tino that she loves him during their imaginary room date, and becomes even more confident in their relationship after introducing him to her family.
