The tweet also revealed that the post was inspired by the episode “Grandude’s Green Submarine” of YouTube show A. Cosmic Kids Yoga Adventure. The episode was inspired by Paul’s own children’s book, Grandude’s Green Submarine, released in September 2021. And during National Yoga Month this September, Paul shared his own thoughts on personal yoga practice on his official website. “I love yoga, and I do it when I can. I think I first got into it when we were with Maharishi in Rishikesh, in India,” he said. “There is a bit of a problem there and there are people – some of his colleagues – who are very good at it, and I have a little bit of interest. Over the years, I’ve just learned a few tricks, like a head pillow!
He even told the outlet that in previous years he would gather with his friends in the Hamptons and practice in a group. “We call ourselves ‘Yoga Boys’ even though we’re old! It’s fun – we get together a few times a week and do it together. In fact, the picture that I recently posted online of John Eastman and I was in one of those sessions. He’s a ‘Yoga Boy,'” Paul shared. When asked if he has other poses besides the head pillow that he likes, the singer said that’s his main move. “Not really. The knee is my show-off moment when I’m in the gym and there’s a lot of big weightlifters and I’m doing grass weights,” he added.

While some people in the gym were lifting heavy weights, Paul said they were still impressed with his banana tree pose. “I can’t do what they’re doing because they’re flexing their big muscles, so at the end of the session I end up in a bowed position and they often come in and say, ‘Hey, that’s impressive. statue’! It is pathetic! No, it’s a good thing to do and I was once told by a yoga teacher that it keeps you young,” said the Grammy Award-winner.
The photo above his head appeared almost two months after he posted it photo his is doing yoga with John Eastman on his Twitter. Paul captioned the sweet post, “My dear brother-in-law, John Eastman, has passed away. Having known each other for more than 50 years, it was a very painful time for me and my family.
