‘My Policeman’ Trailer: Harry Styles Gets Caught Up In An ‘All-Consuming’ Queer Love Affair

Harry Styles28 years old, there’s another drama on the air! Full trailer for his weird melodrama My police was released on 7 September and stars the British superstar as an undercover gay cop named Tom Burgess. Tom is married to a school teacher named Marion (played Crown star Emma Corrin), but he also has a secret relationship with an art curator named Patrick (do David Dawson).

“This love is everything,” Harry’s character says in the trailer, as he begins his secret affair with Patrick. “I pity people who don’t know what it’s like to be in love. Go with me. Just you and me,” added Tom.

But Marion finds out about the affair and confronts her husband. “He’s trying to destroy our marriage,” she said. Tom finds himself at the center of this dramatic love triangle, and he doesn’t know if he really wants to be with Marion or Patrick. The trailer shows many romantic scenes between Tom and both of his mates.

My police directed by Michael Grandage and takes place in the 1950s in Brighton, England. The film is based on the 2012 romance novel of the same name by Bethan Roberts. Linus Roache, Gina McKeeand Rupert Everett play the older versions of Tom, Marion, and Patrick respectively in the film, which also aired before the 1990s.

This will be Harry’s second movie in 2022. He’s also starring in the highly anticipated movie Don’t worry, baby (released September 23) with Florence Pugh and girlfriend now wilderness, who also directed the film. Harry has several previous acting credits from his work in Dunkirk and the eternal. My Police will be released in theaters on October 21, before streaming on Amazon Prime Video on November 4.
