Kylie Jenner Claps Back At Troll Who Says Her Life Is Too ‘Curated’: ‘I Still Do Normal Things’

Kylie Jenner wants her fans to know she’s just like them. The 24-year-old reality TV star and entrepreneur clapped in response to a critic who said her TikTok post from August 26 promoting her new lip blush product from Kylie Cosmetics is not. accuracy. “It’s really not that deep or calculating. It took me 5 minutes to make this video. and yes, I still drive and do normal things,” she wrote with a smiley emoji under the person’s words about her video.

Kylie’s video, seen below, begins with her dropping her phone and screaming, “Oh!” and then shows her sitting in her car talking about her “really comfortable” lipstick. TikToker, with the handlebar @plasticchandler, pointed out that the ad appears to be “very curated for an influencer’s style” rather than being branded to match Kylie’s usual videos. “You’re a billionaire girl, why would you consider lip kits in your car when you live in a multi-million dollar house?” The user asked a question. The person then called the video “intentional” and the phone drop a “cringey.”

The video has been viewed more than a million times and fans seem to agree with TikToker. “That’s the most intentional drop I’ve ever seen,” one person commented under the original video. “Apparently she was just like us… just dropped my phone and pretended I just got my own lipstick from my cv,” another said. “She also dropped her phone! That’s crazy and very believable,” another user sarcastically commented. Of course, some of her loyal fans stood up for her, with one writing: “Why is everyone upset when she sits in the car and drops her phone?” A second supporter added, “Why is everyone upset when she’s sitting in her car and dropping her phone?”

The controversial video comes after the mother-of-two shared a video of her epic evening montage celebrating her debut Kylie Cosmetics in Ulta Beauty in Los Angeles. Kylie hosted some of Hollywood’s hottest stars on August 24, such as Charli D’AmelioLori Harvey, and the newlyweds Kourtney kardashian and Travis Barkerto honor her expansion.

Kylie was also in the news for allegedly overreacting towards fans at the event. The drama happened later Oil Refinery29‘S Alexa May Rhodes posted a TikTok of her meet and greet with founder Kylie Skin, per Page six. In the caption of the now-deleted video, Alexa seemed very excited about the opportunity and wrote, “Interviewed @kyliejenner one and only tonight.” Unfortunately, fans didn’t think the video was all that sweet, and accused Kylie of almost ignoring Alexa and not making eye contact with her. Kylie has not addressed the backlash on this particular situation as of this writing.
