Kelsea Ballerini Rocks Plunging Yellow Silk Top For CMT Artists Of The Year

Kelsea Ballerini attended the 2022 CMT Artists of the Year event in Nashville on October 12. The gorgeous singer rocked the red carpet with a stunning look. Kelsea has been upping her fashion game over the past few years, and she proved it again at this event. For the red carpet, Kelsea wore a yellow silk button-down paired with a matching side wrap dress. The 29-year-old’s look is complete with gorgeous makeup, featuring dramatic smoky eyes, black nail polish and natural lip gloss. Her blonde hair, styled into long, wavy curls, looked perfect with a full, almost luxurious look, as she stepped out of the bathroom with a silk gown vibe. She wore thin strappy sandals and showed off her toned legs with a high thigh slit when appearing on the event’s red carpet. Finally, Kelsea added sparkling gold earrings and two stone rings to complete her outfit.

In 2021, Kelsea is actually one of five honorees at CMT’s Artist of the Year award. However, this year, she was present as a presenter. The honorees for 2022 are Carly Pearce, Luke Combs, Kane Brown, Walker Hayes and Cody Johnson. Kelsea are actually longtime friends with Carly, and they even collaborated on a song from Kelsea’s September 2021 discography, Can be changed. Kelsea, Carly and Kelly Clarkson collaborated on the song “You’re Drunk, Go Home” on the album.

While the aftermath of Kelsea’s album release has been an incredible time for the singer, she’s also been facing some personal struggles. At the end of August, Kelsea confirmed that she had filed for divorce from her husband, Morgan Evanswhom she married in December 2017. Although Kelsea hasn’t talked much about the split, she did reveal her decision in an October interview with CBS Morning.

“It’s not chaotic, it’s not volatile, it’s just not working,” she admits. “It’s sometimes a hard story for you to understand, when you say, ‘Oh my gosh, this is a good person and I’m a good person, but this is not good anymore.'” Kelsea, too, points out. that, while the divorce was “difficult”, she will also certainly remember how memorable this period of her life was in addition to the release.
