‘Bachelor In Paradise’: Johnny Insists He Wants To ‘Marry’ Victoria As She Fears He’s Not Ready

The division week ended on the October 25 episode of Bachelor in Paradisedoes that mean Victoria Fuller have to confront Johnny DePhillipo after dating Alex Bordyukov. “I’m going back to the beach hoping that Johnny is still Johnny and still likes me and wants to go after everything, but I’m bringing the whole other element back, well, I want to explore everything right there. front of your face,” Victoria admitted. “That’s a great thing. Johnny is upset to learn that Victoria seems to have a “checklist” of requirements that she wants men to fulfill. In the end, she told Johnny her worries about him – he was a few years younger than her and she wasn’t sure if he was ready to start a family as soon as she was. Victoria has trouble articulating what makes her want to explore something with Alex, which frustrates Johnny. “When you leave, you [told me]”Don’t go talk to anyone,” he pointed out. “So do your thing because you obviously want to explore.”

He ran away from the conversation and vented about what was going on. “I told her, if you want to be happy, go,” he revealed. “I am not involved. I don’t compete. That’s the only thing that really blew me away.” Johnny wants Victoria to make a decision between him and Alex before things move forward.

Johnny explains: “There was no temptation to see if another girl would check my list. “So what did I not do to satisfy you that you have to go out there and see if Alex does?”

Finally, Victoria gathered her thoughts. “I don’t mean to make you feel like you’re not following a checklist because you’re not just a checklist,” she explains. “I just said that I wanted to have children as soon as possible. I want a family. I want a husband. I want to be engaged. I want to start a life with someone. So are we in the same place in life? Because I know when it comes to this, you’re not very open to wanting to get engaged and that’s okay. You said it right away and I understood. But when I took a step back and started thinking about it, someone was there, Alex, and was saying all this that he was ready. “

This prompted Victoria and Johnny to talk about what they wanted after Paradise and the future. Johnny admits he’s ready to fall in love, but also admits he’s not sure he’s ready for kids. When Victoria questions Johnny’s career goals, he gets a little defensive and tells her to stay with Alex if she doesn’t think he’s motivated enough for her. Victoria makes it clear that she’s not ready to end things with Johnny, but says she still has to talk to Alex when he gets to the beach. Johnny tells Victoria that prom is in her yard, but tells her she has to make a decision because he will leave if she chooses Alex over him.

When Alex arrived, he pulled Victoria aside to chat. “It was a hard thing to see,” Johnny admitted. “I turned around and he had his arm around her and was walking with her. He is telling her everything she wants to hear. It’s his game. Very difficult to see. I’m willing to fight for her but I want her to be the decision maker in general.” By the end of the night, Victoria still felt that Alex was a good-looking person “on paper”, which left her as confused as ever.

“I don’t want to hurt Johnny,” she said. “I didn’t want to explore another option in front of him. I can’t even imagine someone doing that to me. But I’m glad I met Alex, obviously. He is a wonderful man. This guy checks all the boxes I ever wanted on my list of boys. It’s really sad because I’m really going to hurt someone and it’s not fair to either of them.” Meanwhile, the whole situation makes Johnny realize how intense his feelings for Victoria are. “I told her, ‘I’m not afraid to marry you. You are the perfect person I want to marry,” he revealed. “But I don’t know where her head is.”
