‘Bachelor In Paradise’: Ashley & Jared Dish On Plans For More Kids After Guest Appearance On Show (Exclusive)

Ashley Iaconetti and Jared Haibon there’s a big chance to reconnect when they return to Mexico in season 8 of Bachelor in Paradise. The trip took place in the summer of 2022, just a few months after they welcomed their son, Dawson, in January. However, even though the two spent some quality time in the Boom Boom Room, a Paradise baby wasn’t on the cards for them. “I would love other kids, but there’s no way [right now]’ said Jared HollywoodLife ONLY. Ashley added that the couple’s current “lifestyle” – they own a coffee shop in Rhode Island – is what prevents them from trying to have a baby. 2 at this time.

“Also, I might have Hyperemesis Gravidarum [intense morning sickness] Again, so I would definitely need a home nurse or my mom and dad to take care of me for the first half of my pregnancy,” Ashley explains. “So that brings up something completely different. We plan to try in a second, we just don’t know when.”

For now, Ashley and Jared are enjoying the time they have with Dawson, who they say they hope to come down to Paradise with them next time they can return. Ashley and Jared met on season 2 of the show in 2015, and he swooped in for her after she fell in love with him. Both returned in season 3, but Jared once again turned down a romantic relationship with Ashley. The two remained close friends after that and became romantically involved in 2018. Jared proposed on a trip back to Paradise that summer, and they were married in 2019.

Although Ashley and Jared had a rough journey when they were contestants on BIPthey still plan to let Dawson see the show one day (if he wants to). “There is nothing wrong with showing Dawson that life can be unexpected, unexpected and difficult in many areas,” says Jared. “Sometimes you have to work in a couple and in a relationship. There may be times when you have bad times with your loved one and you try to get over them. That’s what a relationship is all about. I’m excited to teach him those lessons.”

On their most recent trip to Paradise, Ashley and Jared spent time with the couples on the show in addition to reconnecting. “We were with the cast the whole time,” Jared said. “We were really like mom and dad down there. We’re just trying to tell them to enjoy the moment. There aren’t many times when you’re on national television and get the chance to date people on this quaint beach. The opportunity that you have ahead of you is unlike anything you have going forward, so enjoy it and enjoy every moment of it. Of course, take it seriously, to some extent because you’re dating and want to develop a relationship, but also have fun. Dating is for fun.”

Plus, Ashley and Jared’s relationship is a prime example of how anything can happen…even if it doesn’t happen while filming the show. Ashley admits: “I know we are the very exception to the rule. “But it’s not a process for everyone. It’s too fast and some of us have tethers to be slower, so if there’s really an intention to be with someone you find there, you’ll have a chance to spend time with them beyond this. “
