Anne Heche’s Son, 20, Files To Be Named Legal Guardian Of Brother, 13, After Mom’s Death

Atlas Heche Tupper is a minor,” the profile reads. “Submitted concurrently with this petition is the Petition for Appointment of a Guardian, which advertises Litem for minors, which specifically asks for the ad guardian to be granted the right to waive binding on behalf of the minor. for minors.” Court documents only list Homer and Atlas as heirs to Anne’s estate, the value of which was unknown at the time of filing.

Anne’s sons were born from each of her long-term relationships. Homer was born in 2002 to Anne and her husband at the time, Coley Laffoon. Atlas was welcomed to the world in 2009 by Anne and her associates for over 10 years, James Tupper.

On August 23, Anne’s remains were cremated and her ashes were placed in a mausoleum at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Forever Cemetery. HollywoodLife received a statement through the actress’ representatives from both Homer and Atlas on the day her remains were laid to rest. “We believe our mother will love the website we have chosen for her; it’s beautiful and serene and she will be among her Hollywood peers,” the statement read. “Most importantly, Hollywood Forever is a place worth living, where people attend movie screenings and concerts, as well as other events. She is our Mother, but the kindness and outpouring of the past few days reminds us that she also belongs to her fans, to the entertainment community and now, to all times.”
