Fans of Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar may have another reason to rejoice, as his look in his upcoming Marathi film ‘Vedat Marathe Veer Daudle Saat was announced on Tuesday after he started filming in Mumbai, but first glance is being mocked for a visible glitch.

Footage of Akshay writing an essay on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj also shows a chandelier in the frame. Now, here’s the catch. Chandelier has a light bulb fitted all over its rim. The reason behind the trolling is that the light bulb was invented much after the tenure of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who reigned from 1630 to 1680.
One user commented: “What was the cameraman even thinking when lighting that scene.”
Another wrote, “Focus missed that in ‘light years’.”
Then there was one user who wrote, “They were making a historical drama and they messed up the timeline. Some research would be good.
The good thing is that producers can take cues from social media and correct mistakes in production as long as they’re open to feedback from the audience they’re making.
