Bangalore: Actress Rashmika Mandanna has responded to a request to ban her from the Kannada film industry for disrespecting the producer who gave birth to her.
“I just love them. The rest is up to them,” she said when reporters asked her to respond to requests to ban her from the Kannada film industry.
Famous ‘Kantara’ actor and director Rishab Shetty has made his Rashmika Mandanna debut with his first project as a director in hit movie ‘Kirik Party’.
Rakshit Shetty, friend of Rishab Shetty in the famous movie ‘Charlie 777’, is the hero of the movie. Rashmika and Rakshit Shetty fall in love and get engaged. After that, Rashmika had her breakthrough in Telugu cinema and became a successful actress.
The couple broke off their engagement because of incompatibility. Recently, when asked about her debut, Rashmika didn’t even name the producer or the director. She gestured with her finger that “this producer approached me and they are delighted to have invited me to join the project.”
Rishab Shetty made his displeasure clear in an interview that he doesn’t like heroines who use gestures to recall the producer who debuted them.
Rishab Shetty and Rakshit Shetty fans are demanding her ban for belittling the Kannada film industry.
