‘Pathaan’ director Siddharth Anand says the producers wanted to feature Deepika in her sexiest avatar in the upcoming action movie.
Mumbai: ‘Pathaan’ director Siddharth Anand says the producers wanted to feature Deepika in her sexiest avatar in the upcoming action movie.
The director said, “Deepika Padukone, in addition to being a wonderful actress who matures through each film, is also our country’s hottest actress. The casting of her for the character in the film was as natural as possible. She can be vulnerable but is very, very sexy easily.”
“So when you have her in the movie, you have to present her in a way that’s completely fair to her.”
He added: “I want to present her in the sexiest avatar ever. That became a mission for the team and me. So for Besharam Rang, when she was in a beautiful European seaside town, dancing with Shah Rukh Khan, we decided to just maximize how hot the DP was on screen! And the results will be revealed when you watch this amazing song.”
‘Pathaan’ is part of Aditya Chopra’s spy universe and has the country’s biggest superstars – Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham – in it. The highly stimulating, lavish visuals portray Shah Rukh Khan as a gun-wielding spy with a license to kill.
‘Pathaan’ is slated for release on January 25, 2023 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
