Odisha: ED starts probe into Lady blackmailer Archana Nag case

Bhubaneswar: Enforcement Directory (ED) has started an investigation into the matter of woman blackmailer Archana Nag involved in money laundering, besides that ED has also registered a lawsuit against 4 defendants including Archana here Odisha today.

The three defendants have been identified as Jagabandhu, Khageswar and Shradhanjali, Archana’s husband.

According to sources, a five-member team has been appointed under the leadership of Asst. Director to probe the matter and the investigation team also requested First informational report (FIR) copies and other evidence related to the matter from Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP). In addition, the research team is investigating four defendants for money laundering. Accordingly, the team is scanning the bank accounts of the four suspects.

According to the report, the ED is also investigating to find more connections of the people in the case and it is likely that they will summon the accused for further investigation.

Sources said the ED will likely summon famous victims for further investigation.
