‘Kantara’ beats ‘KGF’ to become second biggest Kannada film after ‘K.G.F.: Chapter 2’
Mumbai: Filmmaker-actor Rishab Shetty’s latest release ‘Kantara’ has grossed Rs 170 in India and Rs 18 abroad, with a total of Rs 188 worldwide, making it the highest-grossing Kannada film second highest of all time beat Yash star ‘KGF’.
Due to the weekend of Diwali, the film has increased prices in the collections. The total box office of the film has reached Rs 170 crore. It will cross the Rs 200 crore mark before the end of the fourth week, according to pinkvilla.com.
‘Kantara’ has raked in Rs 111 crore so far in Karnataka, with Rs 14 crore at the end of the fourth week, double that of the full fourth week of ‘KGF 2’.
