Javed Ali lends voice for DAMaN’s Hindi version; Watch
Bhubaneswar: Popular Bollywood playback singer Javed Ali has lent his voice as the recording of the Hindi song for the highly advertised film Odia DAMaN (Durgama Anchala re Malaria Nirakarana) has begun.
DAMaN actor Babushaan Mohanty on his Facebook page -Team Babushaan Online- shared a photo of Javed Ali standing with the film’s musicians from Odisha. “First Hindi song dubbing for #DAMaN with the incredibly talented @JavedAli,” reads the caption of the Facebook post.
After the huge craze of DAMaN in the Ollywood industry, the producers are working on releasing it in Hindi.
It should be noted here that DAMaN is a biographical social drama. It is implemented under the Odisha Government’s malaria eradication program.

Debi Prasad Lenka and Vishal Mourya wrote and directed the film. Deependra Samal produced it. Dipanwit Dashmohapatra stars alongside Babushaan.
The movie DAMaN depicts a doctor’s relentless battle against superstition and his struggle to make the tribal people aware of the truth about malaria. It is based on the true story of Dr Omkar Hota who saved hundreds of lives in Malkangiri during his real life mission from 2015 to 2018.
