Indian TV actor Dev Joshi selected for civilian moon mission by SpaceX
TV actor Dev Joshi announced that he will join the “dearMoon” crew and make a 7-day trip around the moon on a SpaceX rocket in 2023.
TV actor Dev Joshi announced on Friday that he will be joining “DearMoon CREW” and making a week-long trip around the moon aboard a SpaceX rocket in 2023. first announced in 2017 and is the first civilian mission to the moon. Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa, who bought all of the seats on the rocket in 2018, on Friday revealed the names of eight people who will join him in a completely private endeavor on the moon.
For the uninitiated, Joshi, is the child star who appeared in the TV series ‘Baal Veer’.
Joshi is the youngest of seven people who will fly to the moon in 2023 in a SpaceX flight.
The actor was selected from a million applicants from 249 countries for the first civilian mission to the moon.
The names of the artists announced on the website of his DearMoon project are K-pop star TOP, American DJ Steve Aoki, American YouTuber Tim Dodd, Czech choreographer Yemi AD, photographer Irishman Rhiannon Adam, British photographer Karim Iliya, American filmmaker Brendan Hall and Indian actor Dev Joshi.
