India Lockdown trailer: Madhur Bhandarkar is back with another realistic cinematography
Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar is once again inventing his realistic films. On Thursday, Zee5 rolled out a trailer for the director’s recent addition to the industry- India Lockdown. The plot of the film revolves around people’s lives during the first wave of the Covid-19 pandemic when the government called for a 21-day nationwide lockdown.
The trailer takes us to a drastic moment when things get tough due to the lockdown. It has the potential to be a catalyst for everyone who has been going through a very difficult time during that time. Written by Amit Joshi and Aradhana Shah, the film revolves around the lives of four characters and the unpredictable situations that cause turmoil in their lives.
The empty streets, the masks, the PPE kits, etc., the film captures the ‘new normal’ in the most beautiful way possible. A scene in the trailer shows us horrifying images of migrant workers, including their young children, walking on the street like cattle. The film will bring the stories of how many people’s lives have changed ‘irreversibly’.
